Meet our President
Patti Malott is the founder and president of Upright Ministries, a national organization whose mission is to protect ministries by safeguarding people and streamlining processes. She utilizes her knowledge and expertise in risk awareness to assess risk, train and educate others, and facilitate the process of change. She is known for her ability to restructure finance systems, resulting in clear and accurate reporting.

In July of 2005, Patti received the Church Management Hall of Fame Award from the NACBA at the National Conference in Keystone, Colorado, for “outstanding contributions to church management and NACBA.” Known for her expertise in developing, training, and facilitating methods for reducing the Risk of Child Sexual Abuse, Patti assists churches and organizations in America and other countries. She has authored numerous articles and is frequently sought for educational seminars because of her session content and relational presentation style.
She has served as Director on the boards of various non-profit organizations in roles such as Chairman and Treasurer. She currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Church Supplies and Services, Inc., a national CO+OP headquartered in Houston, Texas. In addition, she is the managing editor of the CO+OP magazine and the producer of the annual Texas Ministry Conference. She has previously served as president of the Houston Chapter of NACBA and as Regional Director of the national organization. Patti and her husband, John, reside in Spring, Texas, where they are members of Champion Forest Baptist Church. They have two married sons and seven grandchildren.
